Tarta is the bakery of the Hilton hotel in Pimpri, Pune. I came here to order a Cake for my Friends birthday. It was a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and decorated with white chocolate all around. Honestly the white chocolate was too much. It was way too sweet.While waiting for the cake I also ordered a Rainbow Pastry which was almost like the red velvet cake just without the white chocolate.They also had a Rainbow cake but i just took the pastry because I wanted to taste it.In my honest opinion the rainbow pastry was better as the sweetness was perfectly balanced. The quality of both the cake and the pastry was very good specially at the price it was offered . 1kg of the red velvet cake costed around ₹1450. The rainbow cake is also available at the same price. The cost the rainbow pastry is around ₹150. .The chef may also make you a cake of your specification if you call in advance. Others things that were available there included the opera cake, tiramisu and the Oreo velvet. Even though i did not taste them they looked very tempting. At such prices Tarta is a bakery you must try.
